Can you introduce yourself ?
I was born in the Gers in Samatan and, at the age of 20, I became a teacher in Lot et Garonne in Samazan where I taught more than 20 years.Back automatic line
Today, I am one of the creators of the ATP dating back to the year 1977 originally created for the learning of Occitan dances.Back automatic line
For 3 years now, we have been living at the craft house where we teach Gascon lessons, traditional dances, polyphonic songs, diatonic accordion and the Gascon theater. Every month, a vigil is organized at the cinema Plazza or the house of crafts, in the form of conferences.
In the building where we are, there is also the museum part with a permanent exhibition, named « Over memory ». We find the cultivation of hemp, linen with the manufacture of fabrics hence the name of the exhibition : We start from the thread to the manufacture of the fabric.
Why the Val de Garonne ?
I met and married a marmandaise and since I’m practically marmandais !
If there was a place to recommend in Val de Garonne ?
The canal and its greenway for bike rides. One of the projects I look forward to is that of the transversal way from Marmande to Casteljaloux.

Peru. I was 10 years old, and at school the first color geography books appeared. I remember a picture of Lake Titicaca with an Indian on his reed bark paddling ... And I thought to myself, « One day I’ll see this in real life » and 50 years later, while I’m ’I was preparing to go to Canada, I happen to see this same photo on a local newspaper ... For me it was obvious, it was a sign ... and I finally went to Peru. I have never regretted I found this beautiful country !
