The stone door of the village of Seyches is the only one that has survived, because originally there were 4 !
Imposing and astonishing, it provides access to the village and was transformed in the 17th century into the steeple of the adjoining church.
What do I prefer ? Go below and imagine, inside, the straight wooden staircase which leads to the first floor where, two doors open onto a passage which linked the castle to the enclosure.
The plus ? Door listed as Historic Monuments by decree of November 26, 1998 !
