A day with the Gens de Garonne
10 am to 12 pm : discover the people of the Garonne site. depart for a unique show and enjoy an unforgettable experience
12.30 pm : lunch with a local flavour in one of our partner restaurants
3.30 pm : trip on the Val de Garonne barge with commentary and passing through a lock
5 pm : return to the quay, end of program.

 Evening beside the Garonne Experience the People of the Garonne in “Scenovision”, followed by a meal at the life guard station (during which you will hear stories about what has happened when the river has flooded).

 Sunday on the Garonne

(every Sunday from 1 April to 31 October 2008) Reception and presentation by local professional fishermen. Gastronomic aperitif (Wines from the AOC Côtes du Marmandais served with small fried fish). Meal at the Voluntary Lifeguards Station in Couthures, prepared by Philippe and Sébastien Gautier, professional fishermen on the Garonne. Several menus are available, all based on river fish, eels, shad, lamprey etc., followed by People of the Garonne in “Scenovision”
